Effects Prevents and controls symptoms such as wheezing and coughing. It works directly into the lungs to make breathing easier by reducing irritation and swelling of the airways
Side Effects Nose irritation or burning, bleeding or sores in the nose, lightheadedness, upset stomach, cough, hoarseness, dry mouth, rash, sore throat, bad taste in mouth, change in mucus color, muscle cramps
Precautions Avoid being around people who are sick or who have infections such as chickenpox or measles. This medicine may decrease bone mineral density when used for a long time. Tell your doctor if you have diabetes or glaucoma, or tuberculosis, high blood pressure, osteoporosis or if you are pregnant.
Doses available in Budesonide, the active component of PULMICORT RESPULES (budesonide inhalation suspension), is an anti-inflammatory synthetic corticosteroid.
